Our Vision
District of Columbia Firearms Cooperative’s vision is to provide safe sports-related shooting services in the District of Columbia to responsible licensed gun owners .
Board of Directors
Michael Boyd Sr.
Mike is a Sergeant with the Metropolitan Police Department; Crisis Incident Response Branch & Emergency Response Team. Mike is a proponent of gun safety and has been involved in countless conflict-resolution activities. He has served in administrative roles involving de-escalation at Bladensburg HS. Mike is a proponent for education about the D.C. Firearms laws; Safety and Violence Prevention.
Michael Troy
Michael has practiced law in the District of Columbia for over 2 decades. Mike earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the American University Washington College of Law. Michael earned his LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from the Georgetown University Law Center. After graduating law school, Michael served as law clerk to the Honorable Judge John H. Bayly hearing criminal matters. Mike focuses on Family Law, Custody, Divorce, Civil Protections Orders & Domestic Violence.
Darryl A. Hooker
Darryl is a US Army Veteran and long-time District of Columbia Resident. Darryl believes that residents should have easy access to information for firearms permits and firearms safety education. He supports having a gun range in the District where can practice using their weapon safely.
Morgan Woods
Morgan is a long-time Ward 8 Resident and parent of children who attend DC public schools and the DC Chapter of the Civil Air Patrol. Morgan is a champion for teen health with Meridian Community Health Foundation. As a resident, she believes a gun range in the district would allow for safe firearms use and practice to decrease unlawful discharge of firearms and accidents in the District.
